Gain peer-support in a structured learning environment
Learn Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Techniques
- This is a face-to-face group, where 2 psychotherapists will help you apply therapy techniques to your own situation.
- You do not have to share anything personal with other people in the group if that is not your wish.
- This type of group is recommended by NICE for many forms of low to moderate anxiety, as well as low to moderate unipolar depression and mild OCD.
- Research evidence shows that people who attend and engage with these types of groups typically see a significant reduction in their symptoms which lasts beyond the group itself.
- The group is run in association with Leith GP Surgery and Macmillan Cancer Support
